you're welcome hun:) I was in that store this morning. One of these days we are going to bump into each other:D We should all start wearing badges. How about one that says "boots tart" on it" ? :rotfl:
LOL, good idea about the badge. I will have a go at making us one each:rotfl: :rotfl:
Actually, I thought I saw another MSEr in there today. I was wrestling with my photo book to get out the voucher for the excell10 points and was getting in a bit of a state whilst trying to keep hold of the basket as well. There was a woman who looked at the photo book and looked at me with a knowing smile:D
I bought a neutrogena Wave today. It is a face clensing thing. Has anyone tried it before??? Whats it like?VSP Challenge 2010 No 19 - £416.09 , 2011 No15 - £497.17, 2012 No9 - £146.52. 2013 No5 - £113.92SPC4 No1066 - £948.95,SPC5 No1066 - £659.49 (2 stone 13lbs)SPC6 No1066 - Pot 1 - 3.03b. They were the free gwps, on the overnight glitch, only had to pay postage and they sent them out for free.
Messed about on line and have now decided to try this instore, in the new year. Thanks to minimoneyme for the idea.
No7 Minerals Blusher x 1 £8.75
No7 For Men Multitask Hair & Body Wash 200ml x 2 £5.87 each
No7 Free Beauty Pouch gwp x 1
No7 3 4 2 total cost = £14.62p
Take off No7 bluey/ pinkie =£9.62p
Use 2 mens No7, 250 extra points from mens gwp, so 500 extra points.
Fingers crossed it will work.
Was thinking of this...what you think?
Start off with 2 separate tranaction £5 phone top ups...gain 2 blue vchrs =£10.00]
No7 Minerals Blusher x 1 £8.75 (1 blue vchr + 250 vchr) =£3.75 ( add 1.25 for vchr)
No7 For Men Multitask Hair & Body Wash 200ml x 1 £5.87 each ( 1 blue vchr + 250 vchr) =87p
No7 For Men Multitask Hair & Body Wash 200ml x 1 £5.87 each ( 1 blue vchr + 250 vchr) =87p
3x products + No7 Free Beauty Pouch gwp x 1
Total = £16.74 + 790 points
Boots logic...4 products + 1.25 item + £10 top up for £ 8.84
Although if i remember right, I’m sure men’s no7 was £6.50 the last time i bought this in my area.
Also, SA dep or SS till... 2 diff barcodes on men’s and women’s No7 vchrs. Could be combined?
xx

What a year it's been. Probably the worst one ever for me. However, I would just like to say thanks to everyone on this forum. Bootsing has become a bit of a hobby for me now, and it's so fun to come on here everyday and see what everyone has been up to. I've also made a few online buddies from this forum, and I would just like to say thank you to everyone that has pm'd me and chatted to me this year. Big up to Babafette, Pash, Patwinning. Thanks to the ladies that swapped pinkies with me. And finally a big thanks to everyone that has posted a glitch or an offer.
Let's hope we all have a lovely 2K9. Best wishes and big hugs to one and all.

Mimi Quote....Like I said bounced into Boots this morning. Had to take back 8 x gift sets which I bought on Saturday with points, only to realise I had no need for them and they were just cluttering up my room. I just thought with all you guys running around getting lots of gift sets, I wanted to join the trend. Oooops. Silly me! )
So so funny... luv yir posts...they bring a smile to so many peeps, i would imagine. Hope this year is much happier for you and all the other great peeps on here.

Brilliant! That's My Girl! :T Just returned from town, saw Oliver matinee (preview) which was excellent, and then went to Trafalgar Square, to join in the Happy New Year celebrations for ....... Katmandu! Too old and cold to stand for another 6 hours waiting for our ones to start (with no toilets!), and far safer for us to travel home early.
So, to all the Bootsers reading this who live in Katmandu - a Happy New Year to you! You can now say you know someone who celebrated for you in Trafalgar Square!
All London Boots seemed deserted and Piccadilly branch looked like it was in a Third World location, with stripped bare shelves.
Feel truly blessed. I've come through the dreaded BC, medication changed, so I feel heaps better, been with my DH now 42 years, I'm retired, so haven't got a job to lose, I've got enough dosh in the bank to enable me to indulge my Bootsing, and my grandchildren, and not only did all my family come to me for Christmas, but, everyone is still talking to each other!!
I have lots of good friends, and a wonderful Boots Family too - yes, I feel well and truly blessed, and grateful for what I have. Grandma Scarlett has a message for all of you - count your blessings, treasure your loved ones, and have a good laugh at least once a day - sermon over!!! :j :j
Happy New Year!!!! :T :T :T0 -
My last gwp order is now at the spa, split into 2 boxes. :j
Really cannot believe we are getting them at all. Will have so many nice stocking fillers and birthday gifts.
The boots forum is one of the friendliest around and its been great sharing tips etc.
Thanks to you all for all your kind help and advice.
Hope the coming new year is kind to us all. Logging off now, so, Happy New Year.0 -

Hi all
Just popped by to say happy new year!!!
Was told by the manager at by local store that the 75% sale should be on the 14th then going to 90% later on the the month. As we where chatting he also stated that the 50% sale was going ok but he plenty of stock in the storeroom. I bet he didn't know how excited I was to here that. All I can say is BRING ON THE 75%SALE
PS To all you clever boosters out there who make up lists, spot the glitchs - thanks - us boosting virgins greatly appreciate you sharing your expertise.Member of New TG Weight Loss Challenge:
