I got a pack of 40 batteries from Poundland a while ago. Just to clarify, each pack contains six assorted sizes of battery (as opposed to six different sizes of pack containing the same size batteries).

When I needed a watch battery last week I assumed the pack would contain one that would fit - but guess what ........ virtually every size BUT the one I needed. :wall:
The pack I got contained the following size batteries:
    • AG1 (364)
    • AG3 (392)
    • AG4 (377)
    • AG5 (393)
    • AG12 (386)
    • AG13 (357)
    Yep, you've guessed it - I needed an AG2 !!!

    Ian

Typical!!!!! Well worth having these though, I find half the time they contain the size I want (have got a few watches) and if only one is any good then its paid for itself!

    Hi

In Coventry Home Bargains they had bottles of Lime Powerade at 29p a bottle. That itself is a bargain but there was also a voucher on the bottle letting you try it for free - case of sending label and your details for which they would send you a cheque for £1.18. Only one per address so if you buy more than one you will need to use other alternative address details. I had the last 3 in Coventry but they may have more and could be in other Home Bargains. Worth a look as effectively 65p profit even after buying the Powerade and a second class stamp. :T

    BTW - closing date 31 August 2007

!!!!!! and Dom the Board Game - £1.99 (RRP £20). Work your way round the board doing silly challenges and dares. Involves wearing a large pair of underpants on your head at certain points (supplied). My kids are enjoying it. Nice present to put away for Christmas.
