Plenty still in stock at Dumbarton store for anyone around there.0

They had a huge display in my local M&S this afternoon, with a handwritten sign up with this deal. (As you can imagine this was flying off the shelves!) They were also promoting the bucks fizz, asti and a half price champagne and had a tasting table. Go M&S!Women marry men hoping they will change, men marry women hoping they won't! only thing is, the cava doesn't taste very nice....
Last Saturday I had a very pleasant time wandering M&S food hall.
Free mince pies to sample,
Free Continental Chocs to sample
Free Cava - dry and sweet.
Both were gorgeous......I went back several times to check;).
then because I knew you lot might want to know, I went back to check again...
and then in case anyone in the family was interested, I thought in all fairness I better go back and check again
Young lady was very nice and didn't seem to mind in the slightest.
She had started off chopping up the chocolates into smaller sample sizes, but she was so busy with the chocs and the cava, that she ended up just tipping out the box of chocolates whole.....
So if anyone wants to know what all the different ones taste like, just ask...:p
I know it was greedy, ( I am usually very good and manage to resist temptation) but I had missed both breakfast and lunch that day. I am now heading out to buy the cava, purely because it tasted so good. I usually don't like Cava at all, so offering samples certainly sold it to me.
Both were equally delicious in my opinion, although maybe the chocolates helped the
taste
p.s I called in my local 'shop and go' M&S ( or whatever they are called) and they had an 'official' notice showing 6 bottles for £18.xx, so M&S certainly aware how this is going through the tills.0 -
Marks & Spencer Glasgow Bothwell Street had loads in. £8.19 a bottle for Prestige Cava Medium Dry.
Total before saving £49.14
buy 6 save 25% £12.30-
2 for £10 discount £19.14-
Total to pay ... £17.70
Not bad for 6 bottles of kid on plonk!
They didn't have any wine carriers in (normally free) then he rang up 4 bags to double bag the 6 bottles, but a polite suggestion that there *should* have been free wine carriers meant those were taken straight off the bill!0 -
Got a couple of boxes of the Medium Dry (their version of Demi-Sec) yesterday and tried one last night, I was surprised how nice it was so just went and picked up a few more this morning.

Is it 25% off any 6 bottles of booze? If so they had 3 bottles of wine for £10 last week so potentially 6 bottles of wine for about £15? Also had spirits with deals on so don't know if it's on these aswell? In last few days of pregnacy and planning my drinks already...:beer:0

Just been in and went 3 ways on a case with SIL & MIL. They've got notices up telling you about it and the staff actually came over and told us, so M & S know all about it, but not correcting it, so must be correct anyway!A Gmac refund client : Letter of Confirmation received, now awaiting £311.04 cheque - Please feel free to PM me with any questions about the GMAC situation!
