Tried to use anti blemish gel voucher yesterday but it kept beeping, sa said I hadn't met requiements so had to leave it. Also tried to get venus breeze razor and diff sa said couldn't be used because razor was already haly price, left that!

    Hi all

Millymolly & Karenbb i tried using the blemish voucher in one store in birmingham last week and it bleeped and i left it, tried the same thing today and it worked, so i did it again lol. Sorry if im stating the obvious but do make sure you are getting the right products to go with it, cause i think the wipes are on offer at 2 for £4 and the anti blemish/ shine stuff is on offer at 2 for £5.
Right i got some great bargains today with the skinnys.

Time delay eye patches reduced to £2 so got 2 lots 2 for free yeah.
Time delay micro dermabrasion kit reduced to £4 so got 2 for free with the skinnys.
got nuxe cream for £4 cannot find it on dot com but had a quick google and i think the cheapest one i saw was about £29.99, so bargain.
Also got this nuxe cream for £5 .
Last of all got time delay night serum reduced to £2 so got 2 , now heres the good bit, the voucher didnt beep but the sa must have put it on as a boots coupon, and try as she might the till kept telling her to swipe a gift card and give me £1 change:D. She looked so confused and tried every which way to get rid of the message, but in the end she said i dont know whats happening but do you mind if i give you a pound on a gift card? lol:rotfl::rotfl:do i mind? Well i i said i have a gift card already can you pop it on there, so she did lol. So i decided to do this transaction again but added a S& G item to my shopping too, handed over an s&g points coupon, :rotfl:(Thanks Tirkz) plus my skinny and sure enough the till took a pound of the S&G item yipee, so paid £2 for my S&G plus 200 points yipee.
So all in all had a great day. Hth someone

I wish I could get the blemish gel glitch to work. I've tried every which way, both on SS tills, and at a manned till.

If anyone has a fool proof method, I would love to hear it please! No clearance items to get excited about in any of the London branches I've visited in the last few weeks - congratulations to those who have been successful!

I shan't be submitting an application to join any of these break-away boards, and still can't understand why the Grabbit board has gone, or the one called Boots Thread, with a question mark.

But I will continue to post about any bargains I can find. I do hope you're all making use of the Olay Ole glitch, with the 500 points - what a bargain!!

    xx

Just found this thread after searching for the old Boots Grabbit thread. Can't understand why it was taken off. I did tend to read alot and post the odd glitch, reduced stuff for local stores, but will continue to log in to this thread and search MSE for glitches and post if I find any, otherwise would not shop in Boots normally.

Thanks for the mention jazzteddy:DI've always enjoyed reading your posts on grabbit. Here's hoping everyone will start posting on this thread, now that the lovely CPGs thread has gone.

    :wave:Hi all,

This is where you all are... Can't believe the Grabbit one has finally been shut down... or maybe I can!!!

Can anyone explain the olay glitch to me at all?
I popped into my local last Friday and just used some points to buy a couple of deodorants etc... and spent £1.20 in real money too (but wasn't given a current till spit - should I have been or is there a minimum spend?) I went to the ACM and I only had 2 vouchers to print on there and that was a minimum spend one and a tissues extra points one - I normally get loads!!) so I don't know if I will have better luck tomorrow but hopefully one of you can explain the olay glitch to me if I am able to get it and can anyone of my locals tell me if they have seen the Nina Ricci Love perfume (summer one) in our store cause my DD no1 is 19 on Monday and she wants it for her birthday and when I checked online it was out of stock!!
    Many thanks in advance....

i have been refused access to the boots proboards i don't understand why? anyone shaed any light??

yorkshire pud, there was a technical problem with the Boots Refugees proboard yesterday, which the proboard owners are looking into. A lot of applications were declined, which is not true of the proboard.

We accept ALL applications as long as you register with your mse username and a valid email address.

If you wish to try again, you will be accepted.

    Thank you.

Hi, I've called it Olay Ole, cos I just feel like shouting "Ole", and flinging my arms in the air when I've done it!:j

The ACM may give you (cos we know we don't get all the same things) a coupon for 500 points when you buy 2 Olay items. So if you get 2 of the wash thingies that are £5.86 each, this is what you do:

Go to a manned till (it doesn't work on Self Service), present your 2 wash thingies, then 2 x £5 off vouchers, followed by your 500 points voucher.

You may meet with surprise/amazement/shock/refusal from the SA - I've had them all!

But the bottom line is, you'll earn £5 in points, plus 2 bottles of whatsit, and it'll cost you 2 x 86p = £1.72!!!

Now that's a result. :T I was kindly granted 5 vouchers in total, so did it 5 times, so £25 in points, 10 bottles of stuff, worth £58.60 all for £8.60! A very nice profit of (drum roll)

    ..................... £75!!:T:T:T:T :j:j:j:j

And you'll get another £5 voucher each time!!!!!!!

I've just had a look and "the bottle of whatsit/wash thingie" is actually called :

Olay Total Effects Cleanser, radiance enhancing cream wash
    7-in-1 anti-ageing, with exfoliating micro-beads

I shall probably use it for cleaning other things, like the loo, so it's nice to know I shall have a radiant, anti-aged and thoroughly exfoliated toilet!!! :rotfl:

    xx
