For anyone who is thinking of travelling to cinemas over the next few days, it might be best if you ring them beforehand.

I was looking at the Cineworld website and saw that Liverpool, St Helens and Castleford Cineworlds, to name but three, have notices saying that the cinemas are closed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.

I'll be ringing Picturehouse @ FACT tomorrow and if there are any problems I will post on here as there is a preview of Sex & Drugs due to be shown.

Sex,Drugs,Rock & Roll is without a doubt the worst product of Western Civilization. The monologues are both uninteresting and pointless In the rare monologue that captures the audience's attention it is quickly lost through overly long repetition and unnecessary additions (The Hells Angels at McDonalds comes to mind) I guess Bogosian's one man show needed some filler material to give a length that he thought justified the price of admission.

I would rather sleep with my aunt and be hung upside down and drained of my blood than see Sex,Drugs,Rock & Roll again.

I don't think I'm going to invite as for sleeping on the film I'm sure I will be as I'm jetlagged big time!!!
    BUT you never know!

PLEASE READ SIMGRANNY POST BEFORE YOU PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THIS ONE!

I think you are even more jetlagged than you thought , Marialionza!
This is a review of a 1991 film by that title - not the Ian Dury film that there are previews for. (saw it last night - it is really good)

Well, it's a fact that I don't need to be jetlagged to put my foot where my mouths is:rotfl::rotfl:my friend Poochface is inclined to think that I am on the sherry:rotfl::rotfl: (with some added value, the sherry that is!)
Thanks for the clarification, I'm on my way then!;)

I rang FACT earlier today who were most surprised that I was asking of the preview screening would go ahead as it wasn't listed on their schedule and all screens had full schedules. So the nice guy that I spoke to told me he would speak to the projectionist and get back to me.

When he rang me back, he told me that it will almost definitely take place but they are still waiting for the print and they need to cancel a normal screening to enable the preview to take place.

He will ring me back later today to confirm everything.

I will post here as soon as I get confirmation.
