Damn Damn Damn!
I usually read this website before signing up to things...
No matter how many emails I send them, I get no reply!
Ive posted off a letter today, but I very much doubt Ill get a reply.
I paid with PayPal who, after Ive submitted a dispute over the payment, have closed it. I funded the purchase with my Credit Card though, so should I also speak to them?
Does anyone have their contact number so I can ring them?
Very embarraced now!0 -
I didnt setup a DD it was a one off for lifetime membership...theres nothing showing in recurring payments in PayPal either0

Well they finally replied to my emails and are saying now that because I continued to login to their site after requesting a refund, they will not refund me!! Even though it took them at least 12 days to acknowledge my emails/webform submissions about a refund. I didnt even look at any of their wholesalers after my initial request for a refund. In their reply they state that because they are a trade business not a consumer business they dont have to give me a refund under UK Distance Selling regulations!
(I requested a refund 2 days into my lifetime membership after thinking a 60 day satisfaction guarantee would more than apply for my dissatisfaction) ...so what they are saying is that if I look at wholesaler information in the 60 days (even if after the 2nd day you request to cancel) then request a refund, they wont!
1st Refund request: 21st (I think as this is my first logged email to them...think I submitted a webform or two before this)
Account "Temporarily Disabled": 24th Nov (maybe...have notes back at home...no email/confirmation from them they were doing this, or why)0 -
Ive contacted them, but they havent responded yet...Im gonna have to ring them
Also contacted OFT & Consumer Direct0 -
No one should have to pay to find wholesalers details, there are easy and free methods of finding wholesalers for all sectors.0

This topic has been here a while now...as long as you don't slander anyone, genuine comments will, I'm sure, remain here.
My own findings are, that I was challenged with court action, and went through all the stages that were required, but the case was dismissed by the local court.0 -
Also..if it was a paypal subscription you should check that this is canceled within your paypal account..i couldn't say how to do it off top of my head, but google should provide the answer quicker than paypals own help lol0

Paypal did eventually refund my subscription. However, they said they were only doing it because I was a frequent paypal customer, rather than refunding because they had to. Still either way, got refunded, never heard anything from esources, I personally won't touch them with a barge pole again...

Paypal will only cover ebay transactions..i don't think many people are aware enough of this fact unfortunately...
wrong, they cover any purchase you make (excluding some categories like intangible goods). I myself claimed once after purchasing from a website and not getting my stuff from them.0
