You've lost me here totally. No one is having a pop at anyone. Have you had a bad experience? If so then i'm sorry, but it's unfair to have a go at genuine people trying to help. Please don't tar everyone with the same brush.

If you think this site is not any good then why are you still logging on and using it deehani?????

Tiptoes - we sound in the same mix up!!! good luck to you, its frustrating as you know the money is coming but you need to spend money to get it while you still have to keep living.

I am having trouble getting to grips with this site where abouts would I find the SOA section to complete???

ESGIRL, ditto what colleenpamela has said. Please post your SOA and people will be glad to help anyway they can. Someone always comes up with costcutting help and good advice. Although I don't have the expertise here, I'd just like to wish you the very best of luck and i'm sure you'll be pointed down the right path.
  • There's a sticky at the top of the debt free wannabe board for your SOA :)

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time
  • Esgirl - maybe try starting another thread and blocking dehaani? These guys on here are fab at helping you save money and showing you where you are paying too much etc.

Stickies are threads that are stuck to the top of the forum.

This is the one they want you to check: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107280

Esgirl for alsa all I see is the debt mounting as OH signed the house over to his ex to ensure thaht is DS has a a secure home in a nice area.
We are currently just starting to address his debt which is £12,500 od CC and £1,000 overdraft and he decides that he wants to go to court over contact arrangements, so solicitors fees will just add to this debt.
I got OH to read replies to the thread on here as though I want to support him regarding contact arangements I am aware that this put more strain on our finances and therefore my children.
I have ased him to considerer holding off with going to court until we have addressed half the debt and have suggested that any exta income we have coming in half goes towards snowballing the debt and half into savings for solictors fees (he has gone up north to visit his family and to thing about my request but I know he thinks that I am being difficult)
