I changed from Telewest to BT and am now with UKOnline for my broadband who charge £9.99 per month for their 1MB d/l speed and has no limits on the amount you want to download. Changing to BT also gives you free caller display and I have now applied for Primus Saver to get free evening and weekend calls to landlines.0

I put 2 phone numbers (work n home) into ukonline site and cannot get the £9.99 package. I think this price is only limited to certain areas.

Telewest dont cap there services, any of them even the cheap ones, I'm 99.9% sure
CS are only for phoning to complain to and billing problems, and have no price power, phone broadband sales they have or had a free phone number, but i cant find it now, keep at them, and you will get a good deal. also say they had a £10 512k offer on there website ages ago and bang on about ukonline and euro1net.
and if you really cant get a good deal say to the sales person you want to quit right now, set a date and wait for a phone call, if you dont get one, phone the day before and say if you give it me for £10 i will stay.
i did this a while back and it worked for me.0 -
I gave Telewest one more chance but just got the same story. I spoke to someone in Disconnections not CS. They checked the UKonline deal and said they wouldn't match it. Also said that ONLY the 14.99/2mb deal was uncapped.
BT were more than happy to resign me!

I live a stone's throw away from Arsenal FC and I'm assuming that I'll be able to sign up to ukonline once my line has been transferred0 -
bad luck, but the tw website clearly states all services are uncapped!

i think it TW staff not selling an uncapped service encase ntl (who now own them) change the service, however i dont think they will0 -
Now that is a good deal! Shame I've already signed up with another ISP.roses wrote:Hi peter, the "fair usage" is about 20gb according to many users on the adslguide discussion forums. There are very few people who download more than that.
Also I just signed my parents up to ukonline. I did it over the phone and they offered me 2 months free and a free netgear wireless router which I have now received and it is the super 108g adsl 2+ router! They don't advertise this on their website so if you are thinking of using ukonline then call up to see if they can offer you this.0 -
Although the 2mb and above services are not capped the 1mb 9.99 service is.
I also tried calling UKonline and asking about free modems. Was news to them and suggested it may be because they are doing a limited trial in a new area.0
