last year my store opened at 8.30 i was there just after as dropped my daughter off at the school bus and the prices were already labled.. the tills will already be sorted for the price change.. Ive grabbed stuff in my basket and if in doubt check price on your mobile phone calculator and if dont want put back ...

not that many people in the store that early but by about 9.30 was starting to get busier

Last year here the doors opened just after 9 & they only opened the main door not the side or upstairs doors. People were ducking under the shutter as it rose & pushing on the escalator

  • Hi Everyone

Does anyone know what the stock levels are like in the Oracle in Reading (and Broad Street). Skibster (or any other Reading Bootsers) ?

I did to into Boots yesterday, but only downstairs, not upstairs where all the Sale stuff is, as I was hubby who wasn't feeling great.

And what time is the Boots open, website says 9.00, but I'm sure last year it was 9.30am and I was queuing since 8.30am .................

And finally, who bought all the No7 eyelash curlers from the Oracle branch ? I tried these and they are great and wanted to get another few with my blinkies !

Thanks in advance and I am just SO excited about the 75% off sale.

Bolly, which eyelash curlers are these - with or without battery?
RIP Marmaduke 04.02.11, MIsty 09.06.12 and Rufus 19.7.24 very, very sadly missed xxx

Without. On the stand with other No7 accessories (brushes, etc). I saw these all had reduced sels, down to £1.90 or so (which maybe why there are none left), but I would have happily paid full price and blinkie of course for them. I even asked at the No7 counter and SA said No7 were being rebranded so waiting for new 'packaging' ones to come through.
    Thanks

Mimi luv who is the photo of in your avatar????? Just noticed you changed it lol!!!!

Hope you are having a good week this week!!

Hi Angie. That bloke in the avatar is me! Don't tell me I'm fat or anything cos I'll cry. The one before was me too, but that was in black and white and made me look all glam and that (well I thought so anyway).

Week is going fine thanks. Looks like it's going to be a trip to the hospital everyday with Daddy, but what the hell. Gives me something to do.

Also, was wondering: if I have 2 x 150 extra points when you spend £20 or more, can someone else use it? It does have my name on it. If you can use it, and anyone wants one or both of them, pm me. I won't be spending that much anymore.

And I saw lots of I think it was John Frieda Luminar Glaze or whatever it was called at the Dewsbury store, all reduced. I think it was like £1.50 per bottle/tube/case/whatever it was. There was also a few tubs of E45/Euceryn and some ROC Retinox things.

Tiggerlilly : I treated myself to the Berkeley Square Lime & Clarysage gift set, and it's absolutely gorgeous. I don't wear heavy or floral scents either (when I can afford it, my favourite is Diorella by Christian Dior, as it's very lemony). The Lime & Clarysage is a very light scent which is clean, crisp and citrussy - almost like a watered down version of Diorella. It wears off quite quickly, though.

If colours had a smell, it would smell green (if that makes any sense!)

If you are buying the gift set, it has a voucher inside the box for £1 off your next Berkeley Square fragrance (but not gift set) purchase.

    Hope that helps.
