Just got back from Tesco Extra in Doncaster.
Most of errors listed above are correct there.
HL Cod Loin correct
Diced Lamb wrong but only one pack and looked ropey.
Bananas correct.
Sirloin correct.
Bob Marley CD, SEL £19.xx, two different versions stickered £12.97 and £8.97, won't scan due to plaggy boxes.
Phil Collins SEL £12.97, 2 stickered £12.97, 2 stickered £8.97.
DIY book still wrong.
HL Chicken Breasts, two SEL, £6.49 and £8.12. Different packaging ranges - 580g to 780g (approx) and 640g to 820g. Bought it but CS refused to R&R as said there was also a correct label and she said the items I bought were the higher weight range - took a refund and returned items.
Did use all out of date Daily Mail vouchers from week before last though, so that was a bonus and 250 point voucher for just shopping.0 -
deedums wrote:Bought a pair of men's cargo trousers in Swansea this week. Charged £15 but when I got home I noticed £12 written on the tag. I've never done this before but after reading everyone's posts thought I'd try, so I went to my local store and they scanned at £12 and I got a refund, no probs
The trousers are Cheroke, stone colour and were £15 - not to be confused with the darker colour which are now reduced to £7. A relative of mine has checked today and said they are still scanning in Swansea at £15!

EVERY single packet of ham on the deli counter was mispriced this morning...differences of 10-30p between SEL and pack prices. I got 4 packets of the Finest Ham on the Bone....didn't want to go overboard as the CS staff aren't the most pleasantest of people in my local store. Got a very reluctant R&R of £13, without so much as a 'sorry'
None of the SEL's were removed so looks like they'll be overcharging hundreds of customers till someone else spots it!0 -
Got my first R&R today, feeling quite proud of myself. Its a box of ecover washing powder, which I'd been meaning to try anyway.:money:ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0

Well done ruthiejane. Good feeling isn't it
Presume it's a similar to the 'rush/buzz' that gamblers and alcoholics get when they have just had their 'fix'.;)
Do you think we can get therapy off the NHS ( subsidised by Mr T of course) if Tesco ever withdraw their R&R policy ? Doesn't bear thinking about :eek:0 -
Re the Ecover washing powder - you must pick up the ones with the pink "money back guarantee" offer on them. The other boxes will scan correctly. Even though they are a slightly different product (hence the diff design and price) every store has just mixed them up with the old stuff (they are the same weight and size of box so innocent mistake to make). I've not had any problem with R & R on these - I just innocently commented that I picked out thos particular boxes because of the try me free offer on it.
Also found Genesis stickered £8.97 scanning £12.97, PacPix for Nintendo £19.94 scanning £19.99. And Health Living diced lamb SEL £12.xx pack price £13.xx
EDIT - someone has posted on the try me free board that there is a 75p money off coupon inside the box of washing powder too. I haven't opened mine yet, so can't confirm.0 -
Been into chesterfield today and noticed the following:
Tesco value chicken fillets on pack priced at £5.94 a kg on SEL it's £5.95. It's only a penny but try it!
Also some of the cherokee vests (womens) are priced at £2.75 but scanning at £4 (the cs desk said 'I thought we'd sorted all them' so other stores may have cleared them)Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

Tesco Bury Woodfields - Lean Steak Mince 500g packs. SEL £1.93, pack price £2.24. R&R no problem.
Looked at the loose bananas, no price at all on these, I asked and was told they were 85p per kilo, did not buy any.nyarlathotep0
