Nominate Post of the Month for April 08

April Post of the Month Winner:

It was a difficult decision as ever, as each of the nominations were well deserved. But this month's winner is froggy_girl128 for all her help in the Free £25 Grand National Bet thread (there must be well over 100 posts from her in there!). froggy_girl128, could you send MSE Natasha a private message with your name and address?

Nominations for April's Post of the Month are now closed but if you've spotted a post you'd like to nominate for this month you can do it in the May Post of the Month thread.

Please nominate your most useful/helpful Post of the Month £50 Award by replying in this thread. Remember, you're nominating, NOT voting - there is a difference!

Also, please don't lobby to win the prize - as Martin says, it's not cricket!

Please include:

A. A hyperlink to the specific thread/post - highlight the web address of the thread/post when you're viewing it from the address bar at the top of the screen and copy (press 'control' and 'c') and paste ('control' and 'v').

B. Why you think they should recieve the award (no more than one paragraph please!).

I'd like to nomimate Quackers for this thread......

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=799697

Her daughter has been in hospital for brain surgery, Quackers has posted when she can keeping us all up to date with her daughters progress and she has created an environment within The Arms of solidarity and support. Her daily posts put our lives and problems in to perspective. She is a brave woman with an even braver daughter and younger duckling. The thread is still updated daily as to the progress and even includes pictures.

I for one hope the recovery is steady and consistent.

    Well done Quackers x

I agree with the comments by Ophie and I'm so pleased that she's nominated Quackers' thread. Quackers is so cheerful and selflessly brings happiness into our lives.

Life would be very dull without Quackers to build our community and brighten our days.

I too would like to nominate Quackers and her 'see ya soon' thread.

Quackers is one of those rare people who smiles through adversity.

The support on the thread is truly uplifting.

    A most deserving nomination.

Another one for Quackers. If there's someone who can show us how to keep our chins up and our spirits high in the face of adversity then it's that girl. And always there to raise the spirits of others too even when things are hard for her.
