Alfie_E wrote:It’s arrived. It’s a blue one-year box. When I enter the adapter’s serial number and MAC into the Freetalk registration page, it comes back as being recorded as the one-year plan. I think that makes it a success.
Thanks for the update......... I'll let mine get delivered
Should be a boon to anyone on Bulldog :T0 -

Alfie_E wrote:For those on cable, a VoIP telephone adapter does give you the opportunity to dispense with a telephone line, and the cost of line rental. (Note, currently, the only VoIP provider to provide emergency calls is Vonage. But, I can see that changing, for the reason Vonage found they ended up having to, in the US.)
They also addressed the fact that their current choice of area codes isn’t as complete as it could be. They’ll be adding more area codes, and you can change to a more preferred one free of charge, once it becomes available.古池や蛙飛込む水の音0 -
FYI I went for this and received the 12mth box and not the monthly box for the £19.99 price.
I would think this wasnt a misprice but a short promo price just to get boxes on the market.0 -
A big thankyou to Alfie E for spotting this. My box arrived today, and I'm pleased to say it is a one year subscription (normally £79.99) for the knock-down price of £19.99.
Like many others, I was sceptical about his early post and thought there'd be a catch. Delighted now that I took the chance.0 -

I orderd 2 and got both of them at 19.99 each for the whole year of free unlimited uk landline calls.
1 for my self , working fine connected straight to my cable modem, with-out having to switch the pc on. but the other one for my brother who has a adsl usb modem, hence he has to buy router or have his noisey pc on all the time to use it.
I dont want to keep the second on, so if any one wants it then pm me. i live in birmingham so you can come and pick it up.
also A big thankyou to Alfie E for spotting this.Sorry No Links in Signatures by Site Rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -
