Hi,
Myself and my partner (as an additional cardholder) have been earning cashback with a capital one card for some time now. I applied for the free Equifax ID fraud alert service after seeing the MSE article. I thought it was worth a try getting my partner (additional cardholder) to sign up for the service....and it seemed to work! Now myself and my partner have the free ID fraud alert service for free. This could be a neat way to get other family members signed up for free without applying for a new credit card.
Thanks MSE.
Cheers,

Thanks guys - I've had a Capital One card for years. Just done this. Don't know how I neglected to do this before! We are QPR, say we are QPR!0

It doesn't mention it in the article, but how do you get protection for your partner. Do you simply apply for an additional cardholder and it's done automatically or does my wife need to apply for her own separate card?
Many thanks in advance.0 -
Hi
Can someone advise how you see the free reports it mentions. We signed up and everywhere in the account it seems to want me to pay to do it. Is there a code to input?0 -
I have just done it but not looked at any report, may go and do that shortly.
EDIT:
Done it and viewed/printed report.
Just click the view report text and wait, it takes a while to collect the data.
If on dialup it may be a long time.0 -
Hi there,
I have also signed up for a Capital One credit card just for the freebes and I have the same querie as FL.
It seems everywhere in the account to want me to pay to get it. Can someone advise how you get/see the free reports it mentions? Is there a code to input?

Have you tried here

They ask for card details but it explicity says you won't be charged.0 -
