NTL have told us that they do not support Microsoft outlook so it may explain why some of the emails from that address are boucing back. has anyone else had this issue and are there any ways around it apart from viewing via the web?
thanks in advance

Why not use Gmail?
You can configure it to use outlook (yes you can send and receive). Also when you at different location you can check your email via Gmail website. Best of all if you keep changing ISP (which some of us do) you still have the same Gmail addressWhile I breathe.... I hope0 -

ive not had any problems with outlook express but i recently found out that ntl put alot of stuff into there junk mail and ive missed a lot of important emails coming through to me .. i just reset my spam settings and since its been great ..Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear

Never ever let ISP filter out your emails for spam ...best get a program yourself and train it to detect which is good email and which is spam
google it and you will see some free onesWhile I breathe.... I hope0 -

When NTL (or any other ISP) says that they do not support something, what they mean is that they will not offer you technical support with that product. They do not mean that the product will not work with their system. It may do or it may not, that is for you to establish.
Microsoft Outlook works fine with NTL. Any problems with email is with NTL's own systems, of which their email system is notoriously unreliable. A work around solution is to use their forwarding service (which doesn't seem to fall over like the email system) to copy emails to a different email system (e.g. Gmail or another ISP) and then when (not if) NTL's email falls over, you can use your backup email service.0
