While shopping at Tesco Lewisham (London) today, we found a "25 extra points when spending £1 or more on margarine, butter or spreadable butter" on the floor. Obviously, it is in someone else's name, so we can't use it, and I don't think we can use it for the person who lost it, as we have our own clubcard. So if S Crossland is reading this, we have your voucher, and if you want me to send it to you, send me a PM.

The name on the voucher is irrelevant. The voucher can be used with any clubcard and hte extra points will be credited to the card that is used at the time.

Sometimes they check at the till and sometimes they don't - if in doubt use the self scan. It'll work with anyone's clubcard, so will go through onto yours.

Really? How interesting. I would have thought that because a different clubcard number is printed on it, it would go through only together with that card. I still think somehow that this voucher isn't morally mine to use...

You can use them for any deal thats not a buy in full deal. So you could use them on most of the days out offers and all the restaurants. If the vouchers don't have your name on then anyone could use them.

"I now have £45 of Nationwide Autos vouchers....."?
  • Hi,

Does anyone know if Sainsbury are accepting Tesco clubcard vouchers this Christmas? I know you get better deals using them for other things but I save them all year & then it pays for my Christmas drinks & usually a few months into the year & this is the best deal for me.

    Thanks

Apologies if this is a stupid question but I have read through as many pages of this thread as I can manage and I can't see it anywhere. I really need a little update of what to do about Tesco vouchers and points etc. I have been saving points obviously for several years, and they send me vouchers periodically but I don't want to use them in store as everyone says there is better value elsewhere but my questions are...... How do I just accumulate points without them sending me vouchers without my asking; what happens if I don't use the vouchers they have already sent me (some are nearly out of date now), do they just disappear or are my points still totalled somewhere?; should I just get the vouchers I have been sent used up before I lose them? Mind you, I don't actually know what else to do with them! I would appreciate any help.
  • Hi there

I would just like to thank everyone on this forum for all the brill info they give out freely. I always just handed my clubcard coupons in to get money off my shopping ..............but not any more:T

Tonight I have just ordered 2 magazine subs for xmas pressies. I RAC membership and £60 Bella Italia restuarant vouchers. The total value was £302.75 and I only had to spend £72.68 in Tesco coupons.

    I love Clubcard deals:rotfl:

Just go to the Clubcard deals page on the website and buy things - use the coupons up 1st that are about to expire! There is a huge selection of things to choose from.:T Tesco automatically issue vouchers every 3 months you can save them up for larger purchases as they usually have about 18 months "use by" date. If you dont use them by the date on them you lose tham as far as I know so better to convert them now. If you exchange them into deals like restuarants etc they have about 6 months in which to spend them.

    I hope this helps.

  • Me too, thanks for the advice on the Tescos points for treats as opposed to spending vouchers in-store. I have just just just realised (after shopping in Tescos for the past 5 years!) that the vouchers go a lot further if I saved them for treats.

I'm now saving up for a magazine subscription!
Lovin Boots and other bargainous places!
