What's it about?
The Globe Theatre is offering 700 tickets at £5 each (plus a £1.50 booking fee) for each performance of four plays up to 7 October. The plays are:
Love's Labour's Lost
The Merchant of Venice
Holding Fire
We the People
What do I need to do?
Go to the Globe website, click on the "Book online with Seetickets" link on the left hand side, then pick the play you'd like tickets for and click the Book Tickets link.
Click the links for each performance to see which dates/performances still have £5 tickets available.
How long does this last?
The £5 tickets are available for perfomances up to 7 October but bear in mind the four plays finish on different dates, some before then.

Are these for groundlings only?0

This is a standard price for standing tickets at the Globe.
If you want to save the postal charges money, ring the globe box office to book the ticket and pick up at the box office for just the cover price of £5 for standing or £15-32 for seats.
If possible, book direct & try to avoid booking through See as they have so-so seats in their allocation and the theatre has the better ones for the price."This is a forum - not a support group. We do not "owe" anyone unconditional acceptance of their opinions."0 -
The £5.00 do apply to the 'Yard' (groundlings!) yes.
I think the next price bracket up for sitting is £15.000 -
saw the Merchant of Venice in the summer, would def recommend it...although I did pay more to get a decent seat.0
