This week, I got a lovely email from Hitwise, informing me that MoneySavingExpert.com is now the UK's biggest financial information site - measured between January and March this year . Previously it was the largest independent site, but now its overtaken Yahoo Money, and moved into pole position.

Hitwise tracks the activity of 25 million internet users, checking which sites they visit, allowing it to say which are the most used sites in various categories. I'm proud to say that this site, which was set up for just £100 four years ago, is now number one in the UK Finance sector!

Thanks to everyone who has used it, and told friends, family, pets and the bloke down the pub. Hip hip hooray!

Here's the email....
