  • Can't believe this topic has come up now! I currently have some horrible humungous spots on my chin (and I'm going out tonight to see a relative who I havn't seen for about 2 years, and I look awful!). I eat really healthily (I'm type 1 diabetic so have to) and i have PCOS. I've been using the sanctuary facial wash and botanics pore perfecting moisturiser, but doesn't help when it's hormones that mess up your skin!

SNAP!!!i've gotta crop of spots so bad i can't tell if they're c.sores or what..they look like leper sores!!!1 on my chin,1 under each nostril, bridge of my nose, pearler on my forehead&2 new ones this a.m atop each nostril-nice...i find zovirax helps ordinary spots sometimes&also aloe vera gel(1/2 price holland&B sale lol)HTH p.s my bizarrest tip ever was prep H cream to tighten wrinkles, bags etc..works REALLY well under makeup:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Glad to hear... started to worried it was lost in post...

I got the mailing today - the first I've had in months, if not a year. I rang to check that I was still on the mailing list about 6 months ago.

I'm the only person I know who didn't get the recent 750 points voucher. But that did make me use points to get the Clinique bonus, rather than spending.

These hormones have a lot to answer for!
Plaster on the cover-up, put on a big smile, whats a spot or two among friends - enjoy your night!
I swear by tea tree oil for most things - speak to the pharmacist re supplements to help regulate your hormones- especially as you are diabetic - although 342 at the moment you don't want to waste money by buying the wrong things.

    Hey all,

I found the herb Agnus Castus excellent for treating hormone related spots around mouth and chin. I used to get a huge spot regular as clockwork every month which was very painful and took weeks to go away. I took the herb in tincture form in water for about three months and they have totally stopped. Now have clear skin. Might be worth a try or at least a chat with the specialist in your local health food store.

Boots do sell this herb as well in larger stores

I haven't seen this on another post, so please forgive me if im repeating.

In the latest edition of Elle magazine, page 232, there is a full page ad for Boots No 17. It states -

Only at Boots and Boots.com, Antoni and Alison are now 17.
Fairybag Collection free when you spend £5 on 17

Limited Edition fairybag contains 17 nail varnish, eye shadow and nail file. £5 must be in a single transaction. See instore/online for details. Offer available from 25th April - 22nd May 2007 while stocks last.

It looks very nice, if I can get a picture up I will. Its not on the website yet

I didn't get the 750 points voucher either. Last week's mailing is the first I've had for nearly a year!
