lots and lots (and lots) of chocolate chips !!

so everyone is going to hate me now but I have been given 2 kilo's of chocolate chips (I work at catering events!) - they are v. good for cooking as are specifically designed to melt.
I am looking for some simple cake/cookie/muffin/anything else recipes using chocolate - I particlarly need recipes which produce cakes etc that can be frozen - the idea being that I cook all the chocolate now (before I eat it!) and then defrost a cake as a present/when friends come round/to take to parties etc!
I promise I will cut and paste any recipe ideas to the recipe thread!
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!
Money to raise for tuition fees: £3000
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!!

Not a cake recipe but you could try a fondue. We had one tonight - we used 200gms chocolate and 140ml double cream
(well lite cream - it made me feel a bit virtuous:rolleyes: )
My daughter and I split it between us and I had a splash of Cointreau in mine. Then just dipped in strawberries, grapes and marshmallows( not me but the daughter).
Ooh, you could get through a lot of choccie in a fondue for a crowd
I think there was a recipe for an alcoholic chocolate drink on the board at one time - it may have been classed as Christmas booze.0 -

We'd get shot. Some of these recipes will have come from books.

That's certainly true!!!
The last few I put up I pulled straight from UKTV food's website, but they were recipes I'd previously tried out so could recommend them, as I was reminded of them from watching JM over the weekend
I've also previously typed some up from books when people have asked for a recipe, and no doubt they'll end up on the index too
I've seen discussions regarding the copyright of recipes before on the web and the general consensus is that a list of ingredients can't be copyrighted, but the written method can be, as that's the author's own work. So the way they got around it was to change the way the method was written, thus not breaking any copyright laws.
I might add that usually if I'm typing up from a book I never write it word for word, and if it's something I've made previously I'll write it the way I made it anyway. I'm just wondering if I should go back and edit the ones I put on this weekend or at least credit them to UKTV food"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Ok... I'll spell it out for you...
..would you Puh-lease copy and paste this yummy ree-sype into the recipe thread and then edit your post here to point a Link to over thataway ---->
The edit is because we're not supposed to have two copies of the same post on the boards and it's frowned on by senior Board Guides and us junior apprentice assistant Board Guides get it right in the neck.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
