Any good at DIY?  There is a product for enamel baths that can be used to resurface the bath.  Never used it myself so not sure how easy it is to do.

Try this link for more bath product into.

a friend of mine used the TUbby kit on her roll top bath and it came up great but she has to re-do it every four or five years. its worth it though.

we found a roll top bath on the side of a road!! got it home and hubby angle grind-ed all the old enamel off and re did it with white car paint (as he said no matter how old a white car is it never goes yellow) its never chipped or stained and comes up brilliant white every time. ;D

I had to remove pretty bad limescale from our loo and was advised to try cheap cola! Feeling pretty desperate one night I poured the remaining cheap cola leftover from a kids party down the loo and Hey presto the next day the loo was sparkling clean! A bit of bleach for a nice fresh smell and as good as new. REALLY!!! :o ;D Puts you off drinking the stuff though!!

The mixture of cream of tartar and peroxide worked my bath is now shiny and white can't thank you enough.
I thought I was looking at the cost of re-surfacing (£320+VAT) or a new suite
Thanks to everyone else for suggestions.

ps with the rest of the peroxide get a large condom, put it on hubbys head (and try to resist calling him richard head)

get a crotchet hook make holes all over it and pul through strands of hair and do him some nice streaks

    make sure its not 60% vol though :P :P :P ;D ;D ;D

Does anyone know how to clean a manky old enamel bath. It's knocking on for 30 years old and the enamel is worn away on most of it.
No matter how hard I try it's never clean. It has a lovely rim of body dirt all the way around that doesn't come out. I have scrubbed and scrubbed using all the supermarket cleaners, I even used the mop and boiling water & bleach but nothing.
Please help! If anyone uses my bathroom they're gonna think i'm really filthy!!!! (I'm not -honest!!)
