The bit that really tickled me, was it's a 'silent outer shell' but there's nothing noisier than opening velcro :rotfl:Can you imagine the startled fisher-folk, when the peace of the river-bank is shattered by that sssshhhrrrrrrrrriiiiickk & they turn to see you ferreting around yer nether regions laughing-smiley-004.gif

Hmmmm, I'm not entirely convinced that we would want BigMummaF in a 'silent outer shell'.......for one thing it would make it much harder for us to keep tabs on her and ensure she's not scooting up some bridge or abusing some poor young officer. Perhaps one of these could be utilised?

You lot are all utterly crazy and totally lovely!! Haven't been on here for a couple of days, have quickly read through about 10 pages with a smile on my face! Of course you're all invited to the wedding - crazy hats will be compulsorary for any NSDers (especially the boys), you've got to out-do my future mother-in-law in style :) Bonus points for charity shop/ebay finds!

Ooooh, thanks katenut... I've got a selection of crazy hats - which one would you like me to wear:
    this one:

    or this one:

or I think this one could be quite fetching as well:

I think, just to be on the safe side, we should use both, curlygirl. We can't have a repeat of the Tyne Bridge inciden and, if she's got noiseless waders this time there will be no stopping her:rotfl:

This thread is wonderful and totally mad...I love it!! :rotfl:

Declaring another NSD today, making 11 now...only 4 more to go!! Not sure why everyone dislikes odd numbers...I love all of them (except 41...don't know what's that about :o!! )

Since I seem to be spending more time on MSE than actually doing anything, I am trying to limit myself to one visit a day, and no longer than an hour! Not sure how long that will work :D!

I have managed lots of X-stitching this morning - a bookmark for a good friend who turns 50 next week. I plan on heading off into the garden in a bit to plant some tatties.. this lot are going into bags as we don't really have enough ground that's ready...we want to grow lots of other things too.

Right, been here too long...but it takes ages to catch up on all the threads I follow regularly
Having a family meal tonight...with both DS1 and GF attending. He is off back to Uni on Sunday, so this will probably be our last meal together...he will be back at GF's from tomorrow until he goes. Wasn't sure we were going to have this meal this morning though as both DSs woke up feeling c**p...both with sore stomachs, feeling and looking washed out! No, they didn't partake of any alcoholic substances last night!!

Thankfully, they are both much brighter now and had good lunches...so the roast dinner will be consumed tonight!

Right, been on here too long already, lots to do.

Thanks again for doing such a great job with this thread spoon and bigmumma, you really brighten up all our lives! :) :T:T:T

See you tomorrow...another NSD???? Hope so!
