Will an increase in available properties lead to any reduction in asking prices, or any other market increases?
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

An economist would say that as prices increase, quantity supplied increases.

    Prices have risen....

I agree. But will an increase in supply lead to a corresponding fall in price?;)

    Monthly numbers are pretty noisy.

If we look at the broader picture for the past couple of years, house prices fell pretty fast for a year then stabilised and then rose a little bit in the next year. Supply collapsed (or seemed to IMO) during the fall and is apparently increasing now.

I don't agree with your apocalyptic language but I think house prices will be lower in real terms in 3 years time than they are now.

    are you sure?

do you think that they might just be trying to sell and buy to move somewhere else or even upgrade to a bigger property...
