for a friend ...:)
occasion: evening do not at a wedding but celebrating it....black should be acceptable
dress size:
5'7/8, size 12,
'' legs OK but not real long so don't like short dresses... had too many kids to have kept a decent waist.... biggish boobs- feel really self concious wearing high or round necks as they seem too matrony IYSWIM .... ?is what I'm trying to say is I prefer them out?
:D Spend no more than £50. Dark hair, kind of tanned.''
Her words not mine. Think she's pretty hour glass, confident and outgoing. Could probably get away with most things as a result.
price: inexpensive please! under fifty
Other notes: has only black heels to pair with, was thinking the dress that made carol vorderman famous? (sort of shift??)

;)
She has an OK silhouette from the front, but not so much from the side view... too many kids have left her in need of a corset underneath a fitted number or a flare-fit type shape perhaps?
....and shes a bit boyish and backward when it comes to girly (read dresses) or sophisticated (read anything other than denim) type fashion

If you feel like that is a concern do you have some magic knickers? FWIW, I think a bit of a curve to the tum is feminine.0 -
LIR, you're thinking of Roland Mouret's Galaxy dress - you can get a pattern but apparently not a high street priced copy of this dress.

I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -

If you have a mummy tummy (like me) then anything that flares a tiny bit (not too much or it could look a bit maternity) from the under bust area would skim the tummy and make your waist look higher. I live in this kind of dress/top. Take a look at the photos on my blog to see what sort I mean!
I'm a 12 too, although only 5ft 2 1/2" tall so I can only imagine it looking more flattering on you!0 -
The dress you linked to on Asos might be tricky with the back/underwear issue.
Are you looking for a control underwear and fitted look or floaty forgiving one?
I hate control underwear, It never holds it in that well,I need to do some manual sucking in too, and the pants are so uncomfortable, maybe I haven't found the right pair?
My tummy is (between you and me) about 5 months pregnant still when I just let it hang and the pants can't handle it lol!0
