Is this news new? It says it on practically every letter the DWP send out, and has done for as long as I can remember.

Does this mean we can discuss policy now? :p

How many people have made comments about anything other than "benefit entitlements" and been told to goto discussion time?

Yet here we have a post from MSE trying to promote discussion in here.

    This isnt new.

A change of circumstance needs to be reported asap in each case.
  • Don’t you think its funny at the MP's have been caught fiddling there expenses that now they are clamping down on the people who put them there,
Yes some people could well be creatively with there paper work as the MPS have shown us, how to do it, if the government had not made as many cut backs in the departments things like this would be harder to slip through, also why not tackle the people who are not from the uk first who should not be in receipt of benefit in any way shape or form, ie free dentist doctor hospital schooling

I agree there are genuine cases in which benefits, especially disability payments are fair and acceptable.

However, watching groups of unwashed jobless teenagers driving round in brand new cars paid for by us - because their family knows how to scam the system, drives me nuts.

Oops - meant to quote you not thank you :)

''people not from the uk who should be in receipt of benefit in any way shape or form, ie free dentist doctor hospital schooling'........hmmmm, considering the number of international people that have to be brought here (my oh included) to provide these very services......are they supposed to leave their families behind? We came from Canada, and if you were to go to Canada, you'd be eligible for certain things right away as well due to a reciprocal agreement between the two countries.
You need us as teachers, doctors, nurses etc., but they wouldn't be prepared to leave their spouses and children behind....
