Hello everyone
. Welcome to the weekly spend challenge. This challenge is open to anybody, no matter what financial place they are in.
On this thread please post an amount of money you wish to stay below within the week (Sunday to end of working day on Friday). This can be pennies or thousands it depends on the individual. Then next Saturday report back and pledge for the following week. Feel free to update this thread with daily spends if that keeps you on track.
This is a little bit of fun but for many it highlights the fact that maybe that magazine/chocolate bar isn't needed. Hopefully your spending habits can be changed forever.

Morning Budgeteers,
Sorry I am a bit late setting up this week's thread due to the festivities. I am on leg two of my festive travels so have a few days before I return home.
I have set myself £50 for this week as this is what I have in my spends account but to be honest I am not sure what I will be spending. I am going out with my sister today so some small spends there especially due to transport in the expensive city of doom. I am not counting any spends on New Year's Eve as this has been budgeted elsewhere also I still need a dress  (again bugeted elsewhere).
Hope you all had a good Chirstmas and happy New Year.
Welcome to firestonaut and bloojeans I have added you both to the list.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Hi PP, had a great Christmas apart from the stinking cold I've had since Christmas Eve!!! Hope all is well with you.
Got back from the in law's last night and spent £15 on a takeaway, was needed though- got my weekly shop today from the food budget and off out for a meal with my parents (hopefully paid for by them!) so fingers crossed for a minimal spend day if not a NSD.
Good luck this week peepsDebt free 11/05/11!
Savings £4000/ £3000 -
I'll start this one again! But I'll have to start tomorrow, I'm going into the city and need to get bits and pieces. So as of tomorrow, spends will hopefully be £15 max!
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -
Can i join in please? I'd like to say £20 for the week.0
