Newcastle reward isa

Just opened 1 of these with online access, how do you go about giving the 120 days notice to withdraw funds is done online or by post there is no mention of it in the literature they have sent.

  • The advert says the Reward ISA can be used on-line, by phone or in branch. Personally I'd write to them giving 120 days notice of withdrawal, the it's in black and white and there should be no hassle. If you were transferring it to a new ISA you can usually write Transfer on "after 120 day notice period".

You could always ring to check 0845 600 4368

Newcastle's General Savings Terms & Conditions apply and specify -

18.5 Notice requests must be made in
    person or in writing.

I have one of these reward isas with Newcastle opened on 30/11/09. Since it has a good rate including bonus, I have transferred several other isa amounts into it.

Will the bonus finish for the whole amount on 30/11/10 or will each transferred bit have it's own completiion date? That would mean having to give 120 days notice on several occasions.

Anyone know? The whole thing seems very complicated!

It would normally be on the account maturity date (30/11/10) but suggest that you check your specific Terms & Conditions or check with Newcastle.
