She decided that I was the worst mummy in the world and proceeded to lie down on the ground screaming at the top of her voice that she hated me and I was the worst mummy in the world !!
Everyone in the shop was staring at me and I just stood there waiting for her to calm down a bit when this old biddy came up and told me to leave her alone and buy her something to keep her happy as that is what parents should do !! I told her where to go and let Jas scream !! She eventually realised she was getting nowhere and stood up and calmly walked out of the shop with me !!jillie1974 wrote: »can i apologise in advance to those i'll be meeting in trafford, i hate , hate those car seats pretending to be a pram and i have a tendency to go on a bit to DH when we are out and i see them... and in trafford you see loads!!!!!
we just put the buggy in the boot, use that and leave the car seat in the car. ITS A CAR SEAT NOT A PRAM!!!!
sorry rant over now!!I hate that pram makers don't show the warnings more clearly too esp the travelsystem ones that claim to be parent facing when they're only parent facing if you use the car seat
My friend was merrilly walking round with her LO in the carseat bit for hours on end every day until I told her and she was gutted that she didn't know it wasn't good, she checked her instructions for the pram to see if there was a warning and it was in the masses of tiny small print that most don't read right at the back0 -
Grr  I know we normally complain about MILs but my Mother is becoming a pain in the bum, so much so I am actually dreading the thought of leaving Liam with her whilst I return to work!0

Agree with the car seat thing. I got funny looks in the baby club things this morning, I was the only one who didn't run across from the carpark with LO in the car seat, I took him out and carried him under a brolly :rotfl:0

FeelieAre you the same Feelie we met on Monday, with that beautiful, gorgeous, happy, healthy little boy?
I'm on my third - and I still worry i'm doing it all wrong! I think its a natural feeling. I go back to work on Monday after 10 months off, and I still haven't managed a 'group' apart from the MSE meetings.
(sorry if i've missed it, are you still at your parents, and are you going to stay the extra week to see them when they get back?)My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »I love being back at work and I am really happy with the daycare that Benjamin is getting
I really hope I can post this on Monday night - but I very much doubt it!:beer:0 -
i'm doing my big shop tomorrow morning so before i cave into OH's demands for regular roasts, is there a way of making healthy roast spuds or do they have to be evil to taste good?Mummy to
