we should scrap the government as they are all high paid cowboys!
look what they have done so far,
they have got the country in to so much debt!
taxing us with anything they can!
claiming for things that they shouldn't of! which is fraud and they get off nearly scot free!
higher tax on cars!
we are getting fines for anything!
Giving child support agencies the rights to take as much as they want!
making it too easy for foreigners to come to this country, claim and not work!
Allowing our industries to be sold off to other countries!
Unemployment has gone through the roof!
done away with state pension!
and now this! when will they stop?0 -

Oh No! I'm in trouble nowThis is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -
Whilst if they scrap the scheme I won't have to reconsider returning to work it will make a massive difference to our finances - we don't get any WTC or other benefits or help because we earn above the threshold as a family - taking the only slight help away from us would make a massive difference to us as we both have to work full time come the new year and that means our daughter has to be in full time care and that means a large cut in our income without this break...
I appreciate that the country is in debt, but I think there are other areas that can be cut back on instead of this... And more to the point I think it WILL drive a lot of people from working to being at home... which surely is counterproductive to the economy?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
No 10 petition http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/keepvouchers/Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
I have 2 children under 3 years old (20 months between them) and I work 3 days per week. My salary only just about covers my childcare costs with every benefit going as it is. Why would I go to work to lose money?
The government says it wants to support the economy and get parents working to support themselves, then they take away the facilities to allow them to do that. Stupid!I have a new claim to fameI spoke about the Olympics ticket fiasco on Martin's daybreak slot :money:

Yes ironic isn't it. You get all the help under the sun as a non-working parent, however get taxed into oblivion to the point of having to quit your job to survive if you dare to work as a parent. Gordon Brown has lost the plot.0 -

correction: you get all the help under the sun as a non-working single parent... there is no incentive to work or live as a 2 parent family anymore0 -
I just heard that Gordon Brown is considering a U-turn on this as there has been so much opposition since he announced it. He is planning on capping the scheme though, so only basic rate tax payers can use vouchers. At least that's better than axing it altogether!
The charity Employers For Childcare are running a ChildcareSOS campaign against Gordon's proposals. They also have a petition which you can email and detail the impact losing childcare vouchers will have on your family. Every little helps!
