Anyone used Money4GoldUK?

why oh why do people do this?
what would they have done if they had wanted to sell some jewellery, before all these adverts started?
& why cant people do some basic thinking:
if youve seen them advertise on tv, who is paying for that advert?
they still have to have premises & staff, & they dont have the sales income that a jewellers shop has
so how do they pay the additional cost of adverts? well, they pay out less to whoever sends them some gold dont they
also, they are only interested in the gold content
a jewellers may also be interested in the item as a piece of jewellery, with a resale value
most items are not 100% gold0 -
 I've actually posted a few comment's on another thread regarding Money4Gold. Hoping to save some people from the same mistake I and a few others have made with this company.
I'm still unable to post link's put if anyone does a google with: Has money4gold stolen your gold, it will bring you to the money watch site where we've have all been commenting on our fight with this company, hopefully it will help in someway.
If anyone is struggling with M4G and went through Quidco for cashback, can I also suggest you use a ticket and bring it to the attention of Quidco. I already have but obviously Quidco could be of the mind that my case was a one off.0 -
Oh Tigger! I read the thread you mentioned...more than a little worried now. The items I sent away weren't high value thankfully but I feel so sorry for the people who have sent higher value items. How is this company allowed to operate?!"I believe that everything happens for a reason. Always working
Have you had your gold returned?
I haven't a clue how they have been getting away with this, but hopefully all the complaints made will help.0 -
Hi
Nope, it hasn't been returned yet, although I did receive a phone call on the day they received the cheque back (via recorded delivery) to ask if I had received my 'first cheque' yet. All very strange. Wish I'd never heard of them and Quidco certainly shouldn't be encouraging people to have any dealings with them."I believe that everything happens for a reason. Always working. I would use your original tracking number on the M4G website and check what the status of your gold is:
If you've asked for your gold to be returned it should be on "definite return", if not its probably "on hold", in which case it might be a idea to give them a call.0
