My son and I were given the free Lego with the paper in WHSmith, we then popped over to Toys R Us and used the voucher from the paper to get another for my daughter! x

I posted this up the other day after seeing the advert on tv.
Such a pain that its not collecting from WHSmith again as thats much closer to me than toysrus and mccolls

In the English version of the Mirror it's WH Smiths and Toys R Us so I'm assuming that this is also in the Scotish Mirror or is the lego offer in the Daily Record instead like the Lego Star Wars toys were?

    I've been Money Tipped!
    What a fabulous idea.

I wasted a load of time trying to collect the last ones from the shop by the time i got there - they were sold out at 10am. So i will spare myself the stress and post them off and eagerly await the post man to deliver them.

Also had a later thought today after buying the paper. As it's only 7 tokens for posting off, it'll end up saving more money.

    P+P it is.

  • Just wanted to say thanks and to add that I got mine from WH smiths in Folkestone, Kent and they still had some left at 3.30 which surprised me really after reports on here.

    Thanks for this.
Think I will use the postal option and use them as stocking fillers for my son.

I will also pick one up from WHSmith when I pop into town one day next week and save that one for next years Christmas Shoebox!

    Zippy x

I didn't know about this till this am (sunday), then the lady at the till in whSmiths at work asked had I had yesterdays!I said no and they gave me yesterdays toy!I did have to cut out the coupon out and hand that in,though.:o

There is a whsmiths at work, so I am able to get the toys every day no probs.:rotfl:

Hopefully it is one toy per paper again, not one toy per customer? As was the case last time, could buy 10 papers and get 10 toys.:rotfl:

I also save mine for the Christmas shoebox appeal, these are perfect!:T
  • is there no restriction to have one or two sat or sun vouchers? gonna go for the p&p route too so will start collecting tomorrow i think. got a few of the star wars ones but it was just not convienient to get to a whsmith or toysrus evey day. the advent calender idea is excellent! better than a tiny choc evey day!
