the good news is that I didn't spend any money today and still have some change in my purse..
the bad news  is that I had a rubbish day at school yesterday so went off and bought a bottle of wine, pizza and a magazine on my way home as a treat for myself - total cost was £9.92.. this was on top of bus fare of £4.40 so I have well and truly blown my budget..

:hello: hi guys!
had to buy some curry powder for tea tonight (47p!) and was gasping for a drink while sitting outside school waiting for DB so popped into the shop for a bottle of water (48p!) but i'm feeling positive! and at least it was water and not the evil coke!!
so that leaves me with #10.05 yay!!
good luck all xxxPaddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
Went out last night for a lovely meal with friends, only came to £10, so £12.05 so far for me, I'm going to go 5p over this week, mainly as I have £3 to spend on dressdown days at work (its for charity but why is it so expensive?)
No other spends planned though which means it won't be a massive overspend at least.Debt free 11/05/11!
Savings £4000/ £3000 -

Don't worry about it I fail more times than I manage to stick to budget but I suppose we all just need to keep trying :beer:Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

I ended up going out for lunch yesterday and it cost me £10!!! and spend £1.30 this morning on bread so i am £16.30/£20 this, not saved as much as I had hoped, but am soooo chuffed that I have not been to the cashpoint, and realise that I would normally spend so much more than £20 a week. Am loving this challenge.Pay off as much as you can in 2011: £780/£8000Vouchers through surveys/shopandscan: £10/£250Ebay/Paypal target for 2011: £109/£10000

Hi all,
Well I too have blown my budget this week, I've spent £8.75 so am red. To be honest though I passed a really big professional exam this week :jand felt that I'd worked hard enough to deserve a small treat (a trip to the cinema).
True - Bad luck on the fleas, though I loved your description of the visit to the vets, I've done the same!
LongHaul - A competition with your partner is a really good idea! I might suggest that to Mr Thoroughlybroke:D.
Put me down for £10 next week PP please.:A
