Am worried about phone calls, so far the only one has been from the local takeaway, wondering where we were and did we have Swine Flu?!. Also what the heckers are Default Notices? Dont want to bother Payplan all the time so when should I contact them when I get scary mail?
Once again, thanks for all the helpful posts. ttf
Default Notices are what the creditors issue you with if you don't pay i.e. default, on the payments.
They are in some ways not a bad thing cos they stay on your credit file for 6 years from the date of issue so the sooner they appear the sooner they disappear.
No big deal otherwise, if you are on a DMP already or are looking to go on one, your credit rating is pretty much shot either way.

Not into my third month yet and having a mini celebration... Alliance and Pester (loan) have issued me with a shiny default notice :j even though they didn't give me the 28 days notice as required... lol .. they're passing on to their DCA so will stop charging me 25 quid a letter and interest hopefully....
... time for a glass of wine... :rotfl:
Never thought i'd be so excited about it lol..

Hi spoke to CCCS today who said my welcome pack is on the way! Also recieved a letter from egg telling me that they have been unable to contact me so can I go online and update my info (actually e-mailed them but rec'd e-mail back to say I needed to ring their collections dept and when I tried to e-mail back ... there email system was down suprise suprise ) They also informed me that my APR was increasing to 29.9% from about 15.9!
Any one had any dealings with Lloyds TSB and what happens when your overdraft comes to a review, they sent me a letter yesterday to inform me that it's due for review early Oct and they wont be reknewing it (not suprised my wages don't go in anymore) but not sure if that means they wil charge me and charge me and charge me!
Starting to poop my pants this is it now no turning back....why is it you research and know things inside out then when you really need to use that info your mind goes blank.....

HAHA
forgot to ask my Q!!!!
received a lovely letter from Lloyds TSB Solicitors SCM yesterday - saying they will be taking me to court in 14 days if i don't cough up £8k (ooh yes can find that now!!)
i called them - only to discover it is a dept of LLoyds - the 'useless' operator took all my cccs details and then said could i pay more - ''nope'' & then he said thank you very much & put the phone down.
I have written a letter asking what will happen now - anyone any idea??
Not sure I can be of much help but as always I will try (I'm very trying but that's another story;))
Well waiting for my letter to arrive from them, Lloyds advised they were passing my loan on to DCA, wonder if they have money trees ..... these people cannot even understand plain english you tell them what you can afford and they still ask for more, you write to them and ask they only contact you by letter then....they phone... BUT (big but) if you wanted money and held the person to ranson and demanded it you'd be arrested for harrasment or attempted robbery!!!
From reading this site it doesn't look as though Lloyds are very helpful when it comes to stopping interest etc...They are my largest creditor and I'm here for the long haul so will have to keep each other informed of what happens.
