  • £2 coin in my pot today, change from buying bread and milk this morning. I am both delighted and dismayed when I get £2 coins, delighted because they will go in the pot and dismayed because I can't spend them!

    Hi
Just wonder if i could join your challenge please!

well had a jar of mixed coins just sitting on the side, so after reading this thread i took it to sainsburys were they have one of them coinstar machines and i got.... £28.04. Very surprised as mostly coppers.

I got home and decided to seal the jar (as hubby usually raides jar for £ or 50ps!) and made a lil RAINY DAY FUND sticker.
i found £1.90 in a pair of hubby jeans so that went in and i put a £2 back in from the £28.04. The other £26 is going towards credit card.

So £3.90 in new sealed jar x
    Thanx for the inspiration x
