This thread is to discuss the following news story:

"Consumers have a high chance of victory if they take their financial complaint to the free Ombudsman service.

Banks and other firms reject the majority of gripes yet just 6% of those rejected take their grievance to the independent Financial Ombudsman, the complaints body said today ..."

Mods please move this to the correct forum Budgeting and Bank Accounts, It is nothing to do with reclaiming unfair bank charges.

Actually, the article itself does have a large focus on the unfair bank charges if you read it all the way through - perhaps that's why it has been placed in this section?

OK out of about 23 paragraphs maybe 4-5 relate to that but over on that other board complaints get a lot of mention, that's all.

I do agree with you with regards to perhaps this article in spite of a few paragraphs written about reclaiming. However, bank charges reclaiming is defined as a complaint.
