Am I missing something here, but if the OFT do crack down on this, aren't budget airlines going to fill their profit shortfall by simply increasing prices for everyone?
Out comes my my vigilante attitude... if someone isn't scrupulous enough to uncheck the optional extras themselves, then more fool them. Yes, what the airlines are doing is rather sneaky, but those who value their hard-earned money should be rewarded by knowing how to avoid these charges.0
