How to get er..."stains" off suede?

Hello. I feel mighty embarrassed asking this but here we go.

On our bed at home, there is a horrible black suede (or suede-alike) headboard.

We've accidentally splashed something...organic on it.

We have used hot water to clean it, but it's quite set and will not shift - quite a noticable splodge too!

Any advice for an embarrassed couple about to move out and due an inspection?!

Sorry, but this thread nearly made me choke on my tea. :D

Might I suggest not allowing such precious organics going to waste in future? ;):D

  • Normally I don't, but his aiming was off! :)

I knew this thread would raise a laugh but it is a serious question too!

Presumably you've washed away the......residue..........so it is just a stain?

Can you colour it in with a permanent black marker? Try it on the back of the headboard first.

Seriously though, try some of these

Various suggestions for stains on suede include an eraser, emery board and stale bread....

Dilute one of those morning after pill in 0.5 litre of warm water and clean it.

So normally where does he aim ?

Try to enjoy your 'organic' activities in a variety of locations to avoid more 'organic' damage :D
