I don't receive them to my hotmail account either. I tried registering again countless times, it doesn't seem to make a difference!
Just go on the website now, but would be easier if I got the email tbh....would really appreciate it if someone would sort this problem out!

Hi guys
My 4th March one turned up in my email at 1.56 this morning......
Anyone else got the same thing?

Hi folks,
For some reason a number of e-mail companies blocked us this week. Large ones too, we've been working all week at trying to find out why and have sorted it out for most of them.
One of the reasons is some have a volume trigger and everytime we go above it BANG its closed off. So we then need to contact them to get us whitelisted - and again prove we're not spam. It's an ongoing process.
Sorry for those not getting, trust me it annoys me as much as you!

Does this mean you'll need to stagger it more, eg send in batches of say 100,000? I know the email is already staggered but would smaller batches help?0

Same here. Now I've managed to read about all the offers which are out of date. Still waiting for the one from 11th March.........

I started missing the odd tips email last November. See here for some ideas people gave me then:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1318951
Since then, I've missed another 2 for no reason. I have checked spam folder; put address in clean list etc.
One of the guys from tech support says the filters are getting more sophisticated. For example, too much white space or too many links in the email might trigger a rejection.
I just live with the problem now and if it hasn't arrived by a certain time, go on to the site and read it from there.0 -
Hi,
I am really sorry to hear that you didn't receive your email's last week and that some weeks you have been receiving them late too. We try hard to make sure everyone gets their email each and every week.
The nature of the way we mail 1 email to 3m per week creates massive problems with Internet Service Providers (ISPs). One of the main determinants of whether a company is sending spam is the speed and number of emails that are being sent. We have to try to get our email out quickly so that everyone gets a fair chance of taking up the offers that are in the tip.
There are a number of other companies that send similar volumes of email each week, but the majority are consistently sending mail, where as we don't send anything for a week and then belt out 3m, this triggers ISP's spam systems.
The more technical amongst you will know about whitelisting programs, feedback loops and spam score analysis, we do and have done all of these things and are in regular contact with the ISPs to help ensure that your mail does get through. Unfortunately, systems aren't perfect and triggers get flicked accidentally, stopping us from delivering more emails to a particular domain. Worse still, occasionally we don't even get a notification that tells us that an email hasn't been delivered, or it has, but straight into the spam box where it never gets seen.
If we receive a bounce message with certain codes in it from an ISP, we have to stop sending to that address as they have "told" us that this mailbox is no longer active. This is frustrating, as it isn't always accurate, but necessary as another trigger for "spam" is the percentage of invalid or out of date email addresses that a company sends to, so if we ignored their codes we would get less mail through the following week.
It is also worth remembering that if you ever flag our email as spam through Hotmail, Yahoo etc, we automatically receive a message from them telling us never to send email to your address again.
Last week we had considerably more trouble than normal with our email. We were blocked by a number of major corporate mail filtering systems and had our fair share of issues with the major ISP's too.
As I mentioned before, we have good relationships with most of the major ISP's and mail filtering companies. They are keen to deliver legitimate emails to their addressees as not doing so is in effect showing a problem with their systems.
In future if your email doesn't get to you can you please re-subscribe on the site (this will ensure your email address is set to allow emails to be sent to you) and send me an email at notips@moneysavingexpert.com (live by 10am 18 March 2009) so that I can then use this information to find out what went wrong and then hopefully ensure that the email is always delivered to you.

Thanks Richard
One thing to note is that since I've had problems I cannot resubscribe anyway even if I try to again. I get the on screen notification about a confirmation email but nothing ever arrives in the inbox.
Cheers

I will speak to the techies about this and make sure that it does in future.
Thanks,
