Hi
Came across https://www.geointernet.co.uk offering 1Mb broadband for £9.99 per month or 2Mb for £13.99 pm...plus £39.99 set-up fee (but free migration) However unlike e7even (who seem to be having major network problems at the mo), you are only tied into a 1 month contract and they offfer unlimited downloads, fair use policy applies of course.

Does anyone know anything about Geointernet?
I have signed up as I can only get a max of 512Kb on our line and was wary of sigining up to E7Even.0 -
Yes, Any Geo Internet customers out there who can tell us how this ISP performs. Big advantage is only 1 month contract, so if it is no good, you haven't paid a year up front. Couldn't find any trace of them on

Since posting my query about GEo Internet, had a browse on the web and came up with these websites. Quite interesting, but if it is a 1 month contract, not much to lose is there? Hold on though, what about the set-up fee ??

After my experiences with Gio and E7even, I wouldn't touch Geointernet with a bargepole!Wins 2007 :Boots £125, XBOX 360 & 3 games 2008:5 David Gray CDs £10 DVD voucher 2 Crossed Bones DVD & chocolate Torch. It says one month contract, but in Geo's T&Cs, this is what it says:
"20.2 If you give us notice that ends, or we end this contract under paragraph 15, during the first 12 months of a 12 month service from the date that the service is activated and available for you to use (other than because we have increased our charges or changed the conditions of this contract to your detriment) you must pay all charges payable for any remaining period of that 12 months or a termination fee of £99.99 shall be payable."
Doesn't sound like it!“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us...."0 -

Thanks temin, I never get around to looking at T & C's unless I was about to sign up, then of course you need to go through everything with a fine toothcomb, so to speak. I think it is disgusting the way some companies hide these vindictive charges and advertise it as 1 month payments. I think they should be named and shamed, how about it Martin ?"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0

I'm one of many who've reported e7even to Ofcom, without warning I've had no DSL for a week, no replies to email or phone calls - and I can't change without a MAC code from them - what other industry could get away with this?!0

I have just signed up for ndo broadband. Excellent customer service and technical support. There not the cheapest that i know, i was searching and reading up on this for about a month before i made the jump to broadband. Having said that I found the review websites excellent for finding out about different isp's.
I found that having a uk based company with uk based customer support and technical advice well worth the extra £1 or £2 a month. Have a look on the forums they say it all.
Just my opinion though.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
