Hi Jax dont worry your not alone, Ive been lying in bed everynight this week planning what boots Id go to the following day, and plan my way around. I was in Dundee on Sat and begged my bf to let me go into boots there (it wasnt worth it tho) even though we only see each other at the weekends. mind you I used a pinkie on some No7 post shave balm on him so he was happy. :T

  • Super Duper Fast Post. Have not got time to read up on all posts tonight sadly as I HAVE to sort out the mountain of clothes to be put away currently on my bed!

I sooooooo don't get anything done anymore because of this thread!! :p

Sorry if this is already posted anyhwere, but Cheshire Oaks have now definately stopped giving out pinkies (went yesterday). But went to Chester City Centre store today and they are still giving them out - if anyone is heading in that direction. Chester store had masses of empty shelves for free time delay (mens and womens), no LH serum and a very empty looking baby dept (where those lovely brown / pink nappy bags used to be lol!!). No S&G body butters - given up on that one now!

They did have LOTS of photoframes and a few photo albums at silly prices and BOGOF (on SEL). Bought about 8 photoframes for £11.50 ish which would have cost around £110 full rrp - or £55 at usual price with BOGOF offer.

Got to go and tidy up :eek::eek: - Have a good evenin everyone xxxxxx

ps. Think Pashey Washey needs a Wooh adding to the end of her name. It kinda goes.........! (DS is 6 months old and he gets squashy woshy wooh - dont ask lol!!)

Right - gotta dash, OH wants the bathroom but always let me go first - bless him.....think we're having an early night ;)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Scarborough Boots turned my MITCHUM vouchers down today. Not because they were printed, or copied or anything like that. No, the items were just too cheap. I didn't argue, as i had lots of goodies and GWP's in my basket, but politely told her that she was wrong to refuse them, but it was fine. She called the manager, despite the fact i was happy to put them back, and i was told that i can use them when the price goes back up!!

    1 - 0 to the SA's.

I had 5 Sanctury items that were reduced from £14 to £6. I was told i could not use the till spit's on reduced items, and unfortunately, the till agree'd.

    2 - 0 to the SA's

My suntan lotions went through fine with GWP.

    2- 1 the SA's.

I went to the car and put my stuff away and had a coffee break.

Not deterred by my earlier knock-backs, i returned, and asked for the manager. I told her i didn't think that i should be refused the Sanctury items, and surprisingly, she agreed. She over-rid the till, by putting my till-spit in as a coupon. But of course, that made the till think i was spending £6, and not £1, and out came a new till-spit. She didnt give me the till-spitS, and i understood that. But after handing over £5 for my Sanctury goodies, she didnt bother taking any of my own till spits, and walked away. So i got £5 off each of the items, without using any of my till spits. :rotfl:

As this was a reversal of the earlier refusal, that make the final score.......

    2 - 1 to ME!!!!
    A result :T

    HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA:rotfl:

so its not just me going boots mad...well done u!! 2-1indeed!
And truth be told I miss you...
And truth be told I'm lying

    Thank you everyone!
Finally have every single thing my mum will need(plus more) for her stay, to save her carrying stuff as she is a bit poorly! There is tons of it as she is a girly girl(swear she wonders what she did wrong with me!) and she will be very happy!

So thank you to all of you who have sent things for her, given me ideas for the pinkies and spits and all those who have found the glitches. Without you all the things for my mums stay would have cost me a fortune, instead of a very small amount, which is great on my budget!

:grouphug: (that's mimi in the middle lol)
