Hi Lupyloo are you posting in the quick reply box? I dont think you can add any smilies there (i may be wrong) you have to go to post reply at the top and bottom of the page, loads of smilies etc come up at the side or you can click on more as already been mentioned.

Scarborough Boots turned my MITCHUM vouchers down today. Not because they were printed, or copied or anything like that. No, the items were just too cheap. I didn't argue, as i had lots of goodies and GWP's in my basket, but politely told her that she was wrong to refuse them, but it was fine. She called the manager, despite the fact i was happy to put them back, and i was told that i can use them when the price goes back up!!

1 - 0 to the SA's.

I had 5 Sanctury items that were reduced from £14 to £6. I was told i could not use the till spit's on reduced items, and unfortunately, the till agree'd.

2 - 0 to the SA's

My suntan lotions went through fine with GWP.

2- 1 the SA's.

I went to the car and put my stuff away and had a coffee break.

Not deterred by my earlier knock-backs, i returned, and asked for the manager. I told her i didn't think that i should be refused the Sanctury items, and surprisingly, she agreed. She over-rid the till, by putting my till-spit in as a coupon. But of course, that made the till think i was spending £6, and not £1, and out came a new till-spit. She didnt give me the till-spit, and i understood that and wasn't expecting it. But after handing over £5 for my Sanctury goodies, she didnt bother taking any of my own till spits, and walked away. So i got £5 off each of the items, without using any of my till spits. :rotfl:

As this was a reversal of the earlier refusal, that make the final score.......

2 - 1 to ME!!!!
