Free pampering treatment when you buy Allinsons flour

Saw this offer for a free treatment (choice of facial, massage, manicure, pedicure, etc) on a packet of Allinson flour (costs 99p in Tesco). Sounds like an ok promotion, run by TLC (I used one of their free haircut offers a few months ago and it was great).

Note: looks like the only way to book your treatment is by phoning an 0870 number, but hey, a treatment for the price of a phone call ain't bad (and the price of flour as well, obviously, but I was buying that anyway).

    2. Hi
Just to make it even more of a great offer - this flour is buy one get one free in my local Tesco (Newton Aycliffe).
So I can treat my mum to a treatment as well!!
    3. Don't want to burst your bubble, but i have been trying to redeem a massage with TLC since November (I collect vouchers from vouch for me). Their receptionist gets someone to call you back (never when you're in of course) That person then only works part time - 3x 0870 calls later she tells me my local salon (they won't reveal which one of course) is fully booked, ring us back mid january and oh by the way they only offer appointments between 4.30 and 6 pm - useless to me as I'd never be able to farm out my 4 kids gggrrr - anyone else had any problems with them? - how did you get round it?
      Cheers

      Hi Jane
If I was you I would email them and confirm the problems you are having getting a treatment booked. It would interesting to hear their response. I'm off to tesco to get my vouchers.
      Good Luck

Just to let you know how these things work:

The therapists (some of them will be individuals working on their own) do not get paid anything for these free treatments, so the treatments are only done when they are not busy - November and December being very busy times and so they are unlikely to take a free booking when their books will be filling up with people needing treatments done before Christmas. I would imagine in the case of being fully booked is the salon has said that they are not interested in taking on free treatments until it gets quieter in January.

As for the treatment times being unsuitable - its really just tough. You can't expect them to bend to you when you are getting it for nothing, and they are effectively giving you their time, their electricity costs, and their product costs.
    6. I've got TLC vouchers through filling short (i.e., no more than 3 questions) questionnaires in the vouch4me competition website. Using one of their vouchers, I had a free facial just before Christmas, so I guess it just depends which salons you use. Absolute bargain - there's also vouchers for free days out, reflexology/reiki sessions, massage, as well as discounts (2-for-ones, ££ of cruises, etc.), so not bad for the price of a 0870 call. I personally found the receptionist very helpful. Also these vouchers are valid until 30th June, not March as in the Allinson's offer, which gives you more time to find a mutually agreeable time for your session. :j

      cheers

I have also had trouble redeeming tlc vouchers in the past.(Last summer).
Mine were for free days out ,but no-one listed in the brochure which came with the vouchers would honour them.
The go-karting venue I rang even said they were taking legal action against them for
      listing them without permission!
I Might try this offer though, perhaps they have got their act together now!
