Default Free £2.50 smoothie & 70p litre of milk!

What's the deal

It’s currently possible to grab a free smoothie worth (£2.50), and a free litre of milk, just by clicking and printing some vouchers and taking them to your supermarket.

Most supermarkets will accept these without hassle, but a few don't like these 'printed' vouchers and kick up a fuss, so it's best not to make a special trip, just take it if you're going.

The specifics
  • Free 750ml Boosted Smoothie worth £2.50

This is one of the main smoothie brands stocked in most supermarkets, and the voucher is offered by the manufacturer.

To get the voucher: Fill out form & print

Where's it valid? This should be accepted at major supermarkets, however as it's printed out, a few do kick up a fuss. Do report how you went on below.

When does it finish? 15 July 2008

  • Free litre of Candia long-life milk worth 70p

This is available as skimmed, semi-skimmed and whole from Sainsbury and Somerfield supermarkets from voucher site Coupon Net.

To get the voucher: Click ‘n’ print

Where it’s valid? At Sainsbury’s and Somerfield.

When does it finish? 15 July 2008
Having trouble printing?

For starters, make sure your printer is on and has enough paper! Both of these coupons use Flash to print. If you’re having trouble, first try downloading the latest Flash Player.

For the smoothie voucher, you need to accept its terms & conditions (bottom checkbox) and agree to receive promotional emails (top checkbox) though these can be cancelled later.

For the milk voucher, if you have a pop-up blocker installed on your web browser, you'll need to disable it. Also, it may ask you to install a Coupon Printer application before the voucher will print - just follow the instructions to do this. Both vouchers seem to work much better in the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser than they do in others such as Mozilla Firefox

Thanks to MrsMondragon and BlueWKD for suggesting these top tips, this post was created so we could give MoneySavers the full lowdown.

I was going to post about the smoothie voucher, but as I couldn't find any of the smoothies at our Tesco Extra I can't confirm if the voucher works!
Anyone found a supermarket stocking them?

I was fine all the way with the smoothie voucher until on the second page of the form I discovered the brand is owned by Nestle. I have been boycotting Nestle for many years since I found out about its practice of aggressively marketing its baby milk in third world countries.

This is a quote from UNICEF regarding Nestle:

"Marketing practices that undermine breastfeeding are potentially hazardous wherever they are pursued: in the developing world, WHO estimates that some 1.5 million children die each year because they are not adequately breastfed. These facts are not in dispute."

Do you click apply and OK, I found you need to click OK too. Also you are doing this on your default printer?

Can't get the coupon printing thingy to work..it does seem a bit flaky and very unstable.

Shame as I was looking forward to trying the drink.

Sorry Martin much as I love you this is more trouble than it's worth and simply will not print, also endless from-filling and downloading before you get to the stage that you know it's not working...

If you leave the smoothie page open at the registration, it makes sounds like someone is dropping off the kids in the toilet, quite disgusting.

Quite right.

Nestle are evil and their products should be boycotted at all costs.
