Welcome to the MSE forums jcanty.
It'll cost you the same to call that UK mobile as it would if it was in the UK (regardless of where the mobile happens to be in the world). The MSE UK CallChecker will show you the cheapest way.
However, it'll cost the mobile's owner quite a lot per minute to receive your calls.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

Doesn't matter if the mobile is next to you or in another country, the cost to call it would be the same, as it wouldn't be fair to charge someone a completely different rate to call the mobile as you might not know it's not in the UK. It is the person you call who picks up the difference. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
.... on this other site that calling a British mobile from Sweden was only only 12p a minute, and that is if you were using a service and calling from a mobile phone on the Swedish side. Amazing that it is really getting that cheap. I include the link to the article so anyone can read more.0

In the uk there is a cellular provider named "3" . if you by one of his phone even on pay as you go you get skype free for life.
on top of it when you connect a Rylwy adapter and leave it in your own location your incoming land line and cell phone calls will be free while outgoing landline call will be charged with your own landline provider at your own local rate.

Hi,
Has anyone else had problems registering their Card with 18185? I've tried a Tesco MasterCard, and my Lloyds Visa debit. Their system said the number is invalid.
Are they trying to force us to use Direct Debit? I'm not sure, but isn't the minimum payment by DD £1?
I won't be using them for now.0 -
Are you trying to insert a space after each group of 4 numbers but the site only accepts 16 contiguous digits?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hi All,
I want to ring an 090 number from my mobile. I recall, a couple of years ago, seeing these override providers for a situation like this, but i can't for the life of me find one.
Anyone help?0 -
I doubt you could (I certainly never have).
Take out a mortgage before you make the call - it's likely to cost you an arm and a couple of legs.
