Please can anyone help mumzyof2.

mumzyof2 has been on holiday and last posted on 5th april.She is now trying to get back on mse and is having problems signing in.She tells me that she knows her username and password but they are coming u as not recognised.She then tried to get her details emailed to her but her email address is not recognised.She can't register agin as mumzyof2 as the name is still in use.

Can anyone help?

    You could try emailing abuse on her behalf... to see if there is anything they can do... :confused:

    I'd noticed that but she says that she didn't start trying until 8.30pm so that wasn't her.

    There is something very odd going on though. If I search the memberlist for her exact username:

    I just get:

    447so.jpg


    And if I do a partial search, such as any name that has "mumz" in it I only get:

    Similar for other partial searches.:confused:

    mumzyof2 has emailed administrators but has yet to receive a reply.I suggested she email "abuse" herself and see what happens.

    I also posted this on the "sealed pot" thread.

    I just sent mumzyof2 a PM.

    In theory, if she has email notifications of private messages switched on (which I think is the default) then she should get an email sent to the account that she is registered here with. If you see my reasoning.;)

    hi just an update. mumzyof2 has received a message from admin stating that the email address she gave is not registered with mse.
    mumzyof2 says it is as she only has that email address!
    member of the sealed pot challenge said mumzyof2 was online at 10.30pm last night and when I checked earlier she's been active at 9.47 this morning.
    This makes us think someone else has been using her account though we don't know why.
    mumzyof2 is emailing admin to see if she can find out when the last change of email address was.

    We shall get to the bottom of this!!!
