Do you mean for the router after accessing 192.168.0.1?
The router username is always admin
The default password is passwordThis site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

done that bit thanks tharweb, its asking for the ISP login?
Tried to leave blank but it says must have a username.0 -
If you mean on the actual Basic Settings, you need to put the username & password that you had to set up the broadband connection. Have you got an email with this info for example?Torgwen..........

As Fran says but if you have any further questions, I found my ISP's Quick Start Instructions helpful - scroll down the bottom of the page http://support.metronet.co.uk/adsl/equipment/netgear/dg834.html obviously omitting the Metronet references

Just refreshed and read you last post...unfortunately my link won't help you with that

You'll have to contact customer services then if you can't find any record of your password & username from when you set up with the ISP.
Good luck. Torgwen..........

I gather you have had BT Broadband for a while but have just got this router? How do you connect currently, USB modem? If you go into the Properties for the modem connection you should find the Username but the Password may be asteriskkkkkks(???). An email to BT may be required. This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

We've been with BT Broadband for over a year now, and our router's login is in the following format:
User - <firstname>.<lastname>@btbroadband.com
Pass - <nothing>
Does that help?0 -
Thanks to all for trying to help. I read tanglefoots post on a wireless connection after doing a quick google I used my email address and password and hey presto.
Thanks again0 -
