I have just spent 74p on some marshmallow cones (a treat for DS and DD, havnt seen them for years, and they used to love them!!!) and unfortunatly, ive also spent £2381 paying the balance of our holiday in June!!!! But, that is now a huge debt out of the way, so only my car loan left before i am debt free!!!0

It should be nothing today but I have a nasty feeling I completely oversalted my soup this morning so I might decide I need to buy some at lunchtime - stupid salt cellarStudent moneysaving club - member no. 6Uni Reading0

Hello,
Going to yoga tonight which is £4.70. On 1st April I'm going to sign up to the yearly leisure centre pass, so will just pay a set amount each month & can do as many classes, swims, skates etc as I want. I wanted to see how commited I was about going for a few months before signing up, but have been going regularly now since Christmas.
Will probably have to buy a pint of milk later to tide us over. Doing the main 2 week shop on Saturday.

I am doing pretty well after my bad start, I had £8 in my purse and have £2 left, a huge HM lunch and a free dinner tonight. Only problem is I am staying at the OH's tonight (easier to get to work tomorrow am with a hangover!) and he will insist I get a taxi back (£20) as he doesn't like me getting the tube home alone at night. I know he will offer to pay for it but he has been so generous to me over the past few weeks I cannot possibly accept. Might compromise, get a tube half way, get off at a stop with a taxi rank and get a cab the rest of the way (I wouldn't have thought twice about jumping in a taxi 2 months ago!)Saving for an early retirement!0
