Been to waterworld a few times ,but not been for about 4 years. We had some great fun on the rides kids loved it,I think there maybe some rides 5 year olds cannot go on but there is plenty for them to do.On the whole its a great place, check the opening hours because the half-term holidays in staffs do not always match the ones in other areas.

hi, our half term is from the friday 19th when we break up till the following monday

Waterworld is wicked, got rides and attractions for all ages. there's a whirl pool, outside pool which is heated and plenty of slides and there's even an assault course. there's also somewhere to eat afterwards in there although there' a macdonalds, and other places to eat around there aswell

    enjoy
  • sorry to be negative but we don't like waterworld much. every time we've been they have been frying food in dirty oil and it's right on the poolside - it's like swimming in a chip pan, the smell is so awful. it's full of foul mouthed teens too, and there's always something broken. no doubt somebody will be along to disagree, we've only been 4 times so perhaps a regular might have had better experiences. when my boy was 5 ish he liked the coloured slides where 4 of you can go down at the same time but they were only open on our first visit, broken the other 3 times. the bubble jets were broken on 2 occasions and so was the wave pool.

can you get to alton towers instead? their waterpark is lovely - it's clean and pleasant. a little bit more expensive than waterworld but more fun for younger kids and they are allowed in the rapids. they don't have a wave pool though.
