When browsing through Ebay for some vouchers to Alton Towers I found a free ticket to Alton Towers if you do just one small thing...pay £2!
Not bad to save you and anyone else you tell £28 each!
Being as sceptical as I am I rung Alton Towers up to check if this was legitimate and said for the month during May it certainly is.

That is sooooooooooo funny.
I'm off to Alton Towers in 2 weeks. Maybe I need to go to the garden centre first............Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
love it! will have to print off the spec when I go gnome shopping though!0

Do they really mean 18" to 24" ? ( that's 45 to 60 centimetres or thereabouts ), that's one hefty gnome ! ( i thought they were usually 12 inches tops ( 30 centimetres ).
Oh, and wonder who'll be the first to find a cheap gnome online ?

i wonder what their daily limit is? (safety reasons indeed!). we could have an MSN meet-up, do you think they'd let us all in?52% tight0

They were selling loads of them in Poundland Swansea a little while ago - dont know if its a national thing - may be worth a phone call to your local store.Good fun init?0

How good is that !
C'mon... you gnome it makes sense...!
PS - many restrictions are mentioned in the article, so do carefully assess your gnome before taking with you (Ie, plastic / "unruly" ones are not accepted!)
I would also take your credit card as they say they can refuse if they feel like it
Brilliant response by Alton Towers though - very creative!
As Ronan Keating said "Gnome atter what they tell you"
Enjoy
WMSmile - life's good !0 -
Can you ditch your gnome after you got into the place?0

Yes, to quote the article "Any gnome left unattended for any length of time will be adopted by a Magic Maker, and will later be donated to a worthy cause.", so i suspect they are expecting them to be left lying around, especially as the poor things aren't allowed on any ridessecretj wrote:Can you ditch your gnome after you got into the place?
