Not quite as big but I saw Thorntons own shops are selling their Christmas selection ½ price - now £5. It contains 442g (£1.13 per 100g). The Tesco offer is 97p per 100g (I think)

Wow, your right! I’ve just been down to Tesco’s and have to say these boxes of chocolates are huge! I was quite surprised actually.
I think I’ll wait more nearer the valid date before I buy some though.

Just spotted on Mad About Bargains that Thornton's Classic Collection is still on offer according to their website and ends 24/11/09. Appears to be the same offer as it's the 621g boxes they mention at £6 per box.
Will check this tomorrow (11 Nov) as I'll be going to Tesco in the afternoon.0 -
Went to Hounslow this afternoon and on my way I stopped off at Twickenham Extra, Isleworth. I saw these chocolates but unfortunately they are selling for £12. Might be that Mad About Bargains has made a mistake.
I'll be going down to Richmond Metro tomorrow afternoon so will post here if I see anything there.0 -
