Tesco loans

Applied for tesco loan to which i have been agreed in principle, i know this does not confirm anything till documents sent in etc but the process seems to be taking its time!!! been waiting 5 days for the letter to arrive so i can then post my documents of.

has anyone experienced anything like this with tesco loans and how long till they made the actual decision? from looking at reviews it does look like im not the only one

    Have you rung them to chase up?
  • Yes rang up every day this week, to which response is letter has been issued on 14th 1st class, requested duplicates to be sent yesterday as should well of had them by now.

  • Mmmm possibly, does anyone have experience of how long their decision took after they had sent their documents off?, hoping i get the letter in this afternoons post or tomorrow morning.
  • I applied monday just gone too. I got a call accepting my at 8% tuesday. The offer arrived on wednesday for me to sign and i'm now waiting. So for me has been very quick!

    Hiya we applied for tesco loan for a new car paperwork went through quite quickly but after that they seem to slower than a snails pace:rolleyes: in the end we cancelled and got a 0% credit card there are quite a few threads on the time they take if you are in a hurry dont bother

    Yes thats what i have ready that it is a slow process! just hope once forms are sent back which i plan on returning next day i get a decision in a few days, might be hopeful there though

    yes no problem. Fortunately mine is for a car so i'm in no real rush. Hope yours arrives soon
